I found Mr De' Liguori Carino helpful, empathic and very professional. Due to negative press regarding my procedure, (a bilateral inguinal hernia) I became very concerned and asked for a further consultation. Mr De' Liguori Carino was able to see me straight away and was particularly helpful in alleviating my concerns. My surgery went well and I only took mild pain killers for just over 2 days. My recovery has been swift and relatively painless. I would like to thank Mr De' Liguori Carino for his professionalism and personal care. The staff team at Highfield were very professional and friendly, throughout and made an otherwise daunting experience much less so. I would gladly recommend him and his team.

Dr De'Liguori Carino listened to my health issues and explained very clearly in a kind and reassuring manner, the diagnosis and treatment plan. He operated to remove my gallbladder and I have had very little pain afterwards. I completely trust Dr De'Ligouri and highly recommend him I am now well on the way to recovery and feel better already. Thank you .

On initial consultation with Mr de Liguori I felt assured that he could help me after being very unwell for over 12 months with complications from Gallstones. He said to him the surgery I needed was routine. My operation went ahead one week later and went well. I spent 6 days in the hospital and was looked after immensely. Mr de Liguori is a highly skilled professional and was also a very compassionate person. Very friendly and personable. I am lucky to have found him to carry out my much needed operation and would not hesitate to recommend this charming professional to anybody. My surgery took place in August 2019 and now 6 months later I am back to my old self again . I can say he literally gave me my life back.

I arrived at Manchester Royal Infirmary 7th January. On 8th January Mr De' Liguori performed a laparoscopic liver resection to remove a metastatic colorectal cancer. He had previously explained the implications and potential risks of surgery which I accepted. Everything he said he would do he did giving me confidence and total trust in Mr De' Liguori and his team to continue. After the operation I spent 1 night on the High Dependency Ward and I night on a surgical ward, leaving Manchester Royal at 1.00pm on Friday 10th January feeling well and looking forward to returning to work. My present situation is due to the skill and professionalism of Mr De' Liguori, his team, the anaesthetists, the nursing and general staff at The Manchester Royal. THANK YOU ALL. ! Spencer Williams.

Unfortunately I had to have my gall bladder out in late October 2019. However, I was very lucky to have Nicola as my surgeon. Although he was perhaps a little brisker than I would like (no doubt because he is busy), he was clear, and gave what I believe to be very good advice that followed best medical practice. The surgery went well, and I have had no issues after surgery and I believe I am lucky to have had Nicola as my surgeon. Thank you Nicola!
